Make an option appear last
There might be some situations in which you want to randomize the answers to a question but force a single answer, such as None of the above, to always appear at the bottom of the list. You can configure Vista to always display an answer at the bottom of a list by using the tilde (~) character.
- Double-click the question that you want to edit on the Edit tab. For this example, we will use the Multiple Choice question type.
- Select Randomize answers if it is not already selected.
- Enter a tilde (~) character at the beginning of the answer that you want to appear at the bottom of the list.
- Click OK.
NOTE: There are three question types that allow you to randomize answers and use the tilde character to force an answer to appear last:
- Multiple Choice question
- Select Many question
- Drop-Down Menu
