Email invitations are not arriving
Description: Describes why a Vista email invitation might not be received by its intended recipients.
When you create a Vista email invitation for your survey, you can add an email address in the From field of the invitation email. If you use your corporate email address in the From field and you send the invitation email to recipients in your company, it is possible that the SPAM filter on your corporate mail server will interpret the invitation email as SPAM. This might happen because the domain name of the sender's email address (your corporate domain name) does not match the domain of the sending mail server (Vista's mail server).
To fix this problem, do one of the following:
- Use email@example.com in the From field of your invitation.
- Have your network administrator add the domains vanguardsw.com and mail.vanguardsw.com to the permitted domain name list in the SPAM filter your company uses. This is the domain name used by the Vista mail server.
- Have your network administrator add the IP address of the Vista mail server, 126.96.36.199, to the permitted IP list in the SPAM filter your company uses.
