Anonymous surveys and forms
Description: Describes the difference between anonymous and non-anonymous surveys and forms; and, how to configure your survey or form to record responses anonymously.
When you send Vista email invitations, you can choose whether to record survey or form responses anonymously. Anonymous and non-anonymous (named) surveys have the following differences:
- Anonymous - You can see who has or has not responded (and send reminder invitations), but you will not be able to see the response data for an individual. Choose this option if you only want to see results in aggregate, and not by individual (i.e. employee or other sensitive surveys). Also, choose this option if you want survey participants to pass on a survey invitation or link to other potential participants.
- Non-Anonymous - You can see who has or has not responded (and send reminder invitations) and you can see the response data for an individual. This is the default option and is recommended unless you need the survey to be anonymous.
To configure your survey as either anonymous or non-anonymous, use the Launch Wizard. The default setting under Invitation Type in the Launch Wizard is No or non-anonymous. To make your survey anonymous, click Yes on this page.
