Restricting access with an IP address
Keywords: x

Description: Describes how to restrict respondent access to a survey or form using an IP address range.

Warning: Do not modify the default configuration of this setting unless you have the correct IP address range for the network addresses used by your respondents.

Click the Security tab. Under Restrict access to respondents with an IP address in the range, enter the IP address range that contains the network addresses for your respondents.

This option is most useful when conducting employee surveys where you want to ensure that only individuals inside your company have access to your questionnaire. This setting allows you to specify an IP address range so you can limit allowed access to your survey.

Every computer on the internet has an IP address that is used to identify it. By default, all IP addresses are allowed access to your survey, but you can specify a range of IP addresses that should have access instead.
