Description: Describes how to use a Closing Question at the end of a survey to display a closing message or redirect the user to another website.
The Closing Question is used at the end of a survey to display a closing message or redirect the user to another website. You can use a Closing Question to display a custom thank you message or send the user to your website at the end of the survey. If you don't add a Closing Question then your respondents will see Vista's standard Thank You message when they submit their survey.
The following is a description of the fields in the Closing Quesiton editor:
- Closing message / New url - Entry field for your closing message or new URL. You can use the formatting toolbar to add formatting to the question such as text size, text formatting (bold, italic, underline), color, etc.
- If you enter a URL you need to enter the full URL, e.g. http://www.yoursite.com
- End this questionnaire by - Choose Display a closing message or Redirect the respondent to a new URL.
- Ask if - Click this button to set the condition under which this question will be asked, i.e. branching and conditional logic. For more information, see the Ask if Logic page.
